Zimbabwean music stars Winky D, Ex Q and Enzo Ishall are set to headline this year’s Castle Lager Braai Day Festival, which returns to Glamis Arena this Saturday.
The festival will combine live music, braai culture and social entertainment, with more than 10 local artists and DJs expected to perform at the annual lifestyle event.
Emerging performers, including Jnr Spragga, Atenda Chinx and DJ Loz, will join the established musicians on the line-up, highlighting the festival’s focus on celebrating local musical talent.
Organisers say the event will offer an opportunity for friends and families to come together and enjoy a combination of live performances, braai experiences and entertainment.
Ahead of the main event, Castle Lager conducted nationwide trade activations at selected popular braai venues, giving consumers opportunities to win festival tickets, Castle Lager beer and other prizes.
A key attraction at this year’s festival will be the introduction of the Castle Braai O’Clock activation, scheduled to run from 3pm to 4pm during the event.
The activation will feature a braai master competition and other interactive activities, with Castle Lager-branded merchandise and additional prizes up for grabs.
Tickets are available through SahwiGate at www.sahwigate.com, with a limited number of early-bird tickets selling for US$10 before the standard price rises to US$15.
Each ticket includes admission to the festival, a braai pack and one litre of Castle Lager Draught.
The event is part of Castle Lager’s efforts to bring consumers together through music and shared social experiences while providing a platform for Zimbabwean artists to showcase their talent.
