The Civil Registry Department has received 30 new vehicles to boost service delivery across the country.
Speaking during the commissioning of the vehicles in Harare yesterday, Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage Minister Kazembe Kazembe said the vehicles will improve supervision of provincial and district offices, revenue collection, and service delivery.
Minister Kazembe added that Government is also modernising the department through digitalisation, decentralisation, and mobile registration to make services more accessible.
The move comes as the public continues to face challenges in accessing essential documents such as national identity documents, passports, birth certificates, and other essential services.
