President Emmerson Mnangagwa has left New York after attending the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The President addressed the UNGA 81 during his visit, calling for stronger adherence to international law, reform of the UN Security Council, and greater global cooperation in tackling conflicts, climate change, and development challenges.
He also highlighted Zimbabwe's incoming 2027–2028 UN Security Council term, outlining priorities including preventive diplomacy, cooperation with the African Union, combating terrorism and organised crime, and greater participation by women and young people.
